THE OPPORTUNITY:
 
APM is Australia’s leading national private provider of assessment & intervention services. Our Psychological Services business is enjoying an exciting period of transition.  We seek an experienced Registered Psychologist to provide leadership and clinical support to our South Australian Team. Reporting to the Psychological Services Manager, in this fulltime role you will provide mentoring, leadership and support to the SA Psychological Services Team, as well as undertaking the following:  
  • Psychological intervention services (including personal counselling, CBT, motivational interviewing & pain management interventions)
  • Psychological assessments including WAIS/IQ and diagnostic assessments
  • Deliver and develop “life skills” and other training modules to support our base of employment services sector customers
  • Deliver & develop corporate psychological services, including EAP counselling, conflict resolution & group training services
  • Build & maintain customer relationships to achieve positive outcomes and enhance the existing customer base
THE PERSON:
 
APM is seeking an energetic Registered Psychologist with counselling & psychological assessment experience, and ideally supervision / management experience. The role is suited to those who are looking to work with a dynamic, energetic team in a fast paced environment, as well as enjoy developing customer relationships.
  • Fully Registered Psychologist
  • Supervision and management experience 
  • Masters in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) preferred
  • Experience in employment sector / corporate Psychology / EAP / workers’ compensation areas preferred
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Customer focussed & willing to travel within Adelaide city area and immediate surrounds
  • Excellent assessment & report writing skills
  • Enjoy working independently & to deadlines
