Accounts Payable Officer

The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Western Australia team in Nedlands on a full time basis. Working within a team of Accounts Officers responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payables and Credit Card Reconciliations reporting to the Finance Team Leader to ensure weekly and monthly deadlines are met.

What will you be doing:

  • Processing of Accounts Payable with accurate coding and reporting to multiple business units
  • Monitoring Account email inbox and forwarding bills for processing through ERP following delegation of authority and approvals process
  • Process invoice payments through the weekly or monthly runs as per payment terms.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding payments and payment discrepancies
  • Resolving issues, invoice discrepancies and dealing with queries in a timely manner
  • Managing supplier details, ensuring all information is updated and correct
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Assisting with month end – admin/ad hoc duties as required by Finance Team Leader

The Challenge:

What you need to join:

  • 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • High levels of data entry accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
  • Ability to multitask with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Highly motivated with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong PC and software skills – experience across multiple platforms
  • Compliance – National Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, Vehicle and Drivers Licence


  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting packages
  • Experience using multiple software packages
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel
