Our agile development team is responsible for the delivery of web and reporting solutions to meet the needs of the Employment Services division of APM. Due to growth, we’re looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to help ensure the ongoing service reliability, continuous improvement, and continuous delivery of core business applications across our product portfolio. With a strong focus on outcomes and using your customer first and innovation capabilities, this role will work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive an initiative from conception to delivery.

Day in the life…

• Play a key role in the development of functional documentation and facilitating the management of changes as required
• Engage with internal and external business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, review, analyse and evaluate business systems and processes
• Work closely with the development team during all stages of the SDLC
• Work closely with stakeholders and test analysts to plan testing, define test scenarios and execute test cases
• Seek opportunities to evaluate and redesign inefficient processes
• Project management opportunities

We’re looking for someone with…

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a project or delivery team environment

• High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities

• Proven experience working directly with internal clients and preparing system requirements and business process documentation
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels
• Capability in Atlassian’s Jira product would be desirable
• Any knowledge or exposure in providing wire-frame and rapid prototyping, as well as visual design is highly desirable
• Experience with agile software development methodologies highly regarded
• Knowledge in the Employment Services industry would be very highly regarded
