Business Manager - Earlville

  • 505024
  • Earlville, QLD, Australia
  • Full Time

Join the APM team at Earlville, in the Cairns Region, as a Business Manager, leading our Indigenous Specialist Workforce Australia team.

We’re looking for someone to inspire and motivate those who bring positive changes to participants so they can develop the skills to find long term employment and become financially independent.

Recently we were selected to provide employment services for job seekers from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in regions of NSW and Queensland, and we’re looking for the right people to join us full-time and grow our team to meet this important responsibility.

APM welcomes applications from First Nations people, and others with the relevant experience, who want to join us in our contribution towards closing the gap in these communities.

Do you have Employment Services experience and enjoy leading a small team? Join APM at our Earlville site as a Business Manager, where you can apply your people skills and management experience to lead and support a strong team.

The role

You'll be empowering and motivating employment consultants to drive the very best outcomes for job seekers. Your teams' success is what drives you, so regular training and mentoring will be important, supporting them to hit their KPIs. You'll also lead by example, engaging with job seekers to provide tailored employment services.

What makes a great Business Manager?

Your business mindset is essential in interpreting data, forming business relationships with local employers and planning for your teams' future success. Resilience and problem solving is second nature to you, supporting you to solve complex issues as they arise.

A stable, and growing employer

For more than 25 years, we’ve been enabling better lives through a range of services including employment, allied health intervention, community care and workplace health. We help more than 600,000 people each year, in 10 countries across the world.

Be rewarded for your success

Performance is part of our culture as it encourages us to help more people. Your role will attract a solid base salary plus an achievable incentive structure, rewarding you and your team for your success in placing as many people as possible into employment.

You'll also have unlimited personal use of a smartphone, salary packaging options, free counselling services and a range of other benefits.

Due to the nature of our work, to apply you must:
