A typical week will involve:

This flexible role can be located at any APM office in Aus. In the local area, we have one at Newcastle, Toronto, The Entrance, Gosford & Salamander Bay and more.

The Business Support Officer role will include working as part of a team to conduct internal audits and routine monitoring to ensure that contractual compliance requirements are met.

  • Primarily auditing our Complementary Programs including ParentsNext, Transition to Work, Self-Employment Assistance (formerly NEIS) and many others
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support contractual compliance and efficiency
  • Ability to research relevant guideline and Employment Services Deed clauses to assist with complex compliance matters
  • Workload management and prioritising tasks
  • Maintain records in accordance with best practice and in compliance with relevant policies and Departmental guidelines
  • Full time role, working Monday to Friday

Alongside the above you may also assist in other duties across the Audit and Compliance team, including wage subsidy processing and complaints handling.

We are looking for someone who has Employment Services experience and good contractual knowledge. This is a great opportunity to step up from an Employment Consultant position or another role in Employment Services where you can make a wider effect to the service APM provides to its customers.

  • Previous experience in an Employment Services role
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Services contracts
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong Excel skills advantageous
