A typical week will involve:

The Business Support Officer role will include working as part of a team to effectively manage, investigate and resolve national Employment Services customer complaints.

This is a flexible role that can be located from any one of our APM offices across Australia.

  • Provide high quality customer complaint resolution and exceptional service to all stake holders
  • Support managers with the development, implementation & documentation of incident reports & service plans
  • Research relevant Employment Services Deed clauses and conditions to assist with dispute resolution
  • Dealing with complex customer matters in a logical and professional manner
  • Workload management and prioritising tasks
  • Maintain records in accordance with best practice and in compliance with relevant policies and Departmental guidelines
  • Full time role, working Monday to Friday

Alongside the above you may also conduct in-house training on the effective management of complaints and assist in other duties across the Audit and compliance team, including wage subsidy processing and auditing.

We are looking for someone who has Employment Services experience and good contractual knowledge. This is a great opportunity to step up from an Employment Consultant position or another role in Employment Services where you can make a wider effect to the service APM provides to its customers.

  • Previous experience in an Employment Services role
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Services contracts
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong Excel skills advantageous
