With 350 employees APM holds contracts across ACC, MSD, NZDF as well as private employers to provide a range of services including Vocational and Community Rehabilitation, Pain and Injury Management, Workplace Health, Allied Health Intervention and Employment Services. 

What you’ll be doing

Working from any of our New Zealand offices you will have INFLUENCE over our national service delivery in relation to Wheelchairs and Seating.  While you will be required to manage a clinical caseload within your local region, you will also have strong involvement in workforce development, quality of service, and ensuring a sustainable and innovative service for APM.  Drawing on your specialised skillset you will partner with a VARIED caseload of clients as well as SUPPORTING our clinicians through:

  • Managing the service delivery standard of your own clinical case load
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to therapists
  • Liaising with case owners, internal panels and the wider APM team
  • Providing expert advice to other Wheelchair and Seating named providers
  • Leading special interest groups

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in either Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with relevant NZ Board
  • Post graduate experience in Wheelchair and Seating assessments
  • Named provider with ACC for Wheelchair and Seating Assessments
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Awareness of cultural competency and an ability to work with diversity
  • Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence 
  • New Zealand working rights
