About the role
Based in Albany, working in a part-time, you will provide a whole-of-person approach to support clients across a mixed caseload including Concussion, TI, Sensitive Claims and Psychology Services.
Working in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment, you will work with your clients to support their return-to-life through:
Quality services tailored to their individual needs
Assessment, clinical reasoning, interventions and goal setting
Referring for appropriate follow-up where there are further mental health concerns
Utilisation of various psychological techniques to effect improved adjustments
Planning of individual, group, and family therapies
Regular monitoring of client progress and report writing
Key skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in Psychology
Registration with the NZ Psychologists Board under clinical scope or neuropsychologist
Professional body membership e.g. NZ Psychological society (NZPS), NZ College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP) or an international professional body accepted by ACC
Successful completion of university based graduate or postgraduate course or papers in Clinical Neuropsychology (transcript required).
Post graduate experience/clinical background in anxiety, depression, concussion/brain injury complex mental health, pain management, trauma, neuropsychological screens.
