Am I suited to being a Community Engagement Consultant with APM’s Caboolture office?

Or you are just someone who is keen to work in a collaborative environment where you can bring your drive, passion to help contribute to the success of a new program.

The role:

You won’t be desk bound in this role, you will be identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with employers, community service and training organisations. You will be getting out and about to create opportunities for our Employability Skills Training (EST) participants to secure employment after completing a hands on and in-depth employment preparation program.

APM delivers Employment Services Programs from over 400 sites nationally and you’ll be based at our Caboolture office as a key member of our EST team. We lift people up, supporting them in employment, independence and improved wellbeing. It’s exciting, challenging, inclusive and rewarding. Together we aspire to enable better lives for our own people and the people we serve. 

  • Promoting APM and the Employability Skills Training program
  • Identifying, creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (local employers and community organisations)
  • Working with our EST Trainers to meet the needs of our participants in finding employment
  • Advocating and marketing our participants to local employers

To be considered, you will have...

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
