The Role:
In this role you will contribute to the values driven, highly professional and ethical delivery of services to Assure customers through the provision of services including EAP counselling, clinical interventions, and critical incident management. These services are delivered via face-to-face sessions or tele-health when required.
Assess member’s immediate clinical needs and utilize appropriate clinical tools to identify and provide services.
Provide Clinical and counselling interventions, and related liaison with an ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load
Provide strong facilitation and group counselling sessions to corporate teams
Provide counselling to individuals with a variety of presenting issues including but not limited to mental, emotional, disorders, conditions, addictions, lifestyle management and work life concerns.
Provide clinical services utilizing a variety of advanced clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions and/or models, which supports the level of care and engagement of members and are in alignment with the member’s theory of change.
Use appropriate and acceptable judgment, clinical theories, knowledge, methods, ethics, and professional use of self to restore or enhance social, psychosocial, or biopsychosocial functioning of members.
Provide information to members and providers regarding mental health, substance abuse, community treatment resources, and related mental health programs
About you:
Psychologist with full AHPRA registration OR Mental Health Accredited Social Worker with full practicing Membership with the AASW OR Counsellor with PACFA Registration
Broad experience in clinical and counselling interventions and related liaison with an ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load
Self-motivated, reliable and have personal and professional presence, integrity, business ethics and credibility to represent Assure in a positive manner and positively contribute to the Assure culture
The ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company to achieve goals through influence
Warmth, flexibility and calmness under pressure
A demonstrated commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and personal and professional development, as well as contributions to the professional development of colleagues
Good IT skills, superior written skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow administration procedures with accuracy and efficiency
Current Working with Children clearance
Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check
Current driver licence and own transport is desirable but not essential
