This is a flexible full time permanent position that can be based from any APM office across Australia.

Previous experience working with the DES contract
Exposure to preparing & submitting DES outcome claims to the CCU
Has good judgement and can show discretion when required
Passion for ensuring quality and integrity in everything you do
Ability to set goals, manage a variety of tasks and achieve outcomes
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and time management skills
An ability to work flexible hours during peak periods (e.g. end of month and end of quarter milestones)

The Role:
As a Claims Officer, you will be working as part of the national Business Support team, managing the DES client claims process, compiling evidence, investigating and while providing support, guidance and feedback.
Lead the way in processing and checking claims prior to submission
Ensure the accuracy of claims, interpreting and adhering to compliance when processing
Identifying and investigating any non-compliant claims
Provide support, guidance and feedback to internal staff on claims submission process
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support continual improvement
Contribute to the operations and support during external audits
