About the role

this role you will develop, enhance, and distribute a value-driven product throughout the wider APM Group, utilising detailed user story requirements to design and produce quality solutions in an agile environment. You will contribute to planning and provide leadership to a growing development team and ensure the solution is delivered and maintained at a high-quality standard.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • This role is full-time working from home, with options to work from local branches
  • Be provided detailed user stories and tasked specifications for development.
  • Full-stack development within an agile environment, alongside an internal and external (Australian) development team.
  • Ensure unit-testing and a quality product is maintained.
  • Contribute to and ensure the development team has a set of code standards.
  • Assist sprint planning, suggest improvements & product deployments.

Here’s some technical information about the product:

  • Employable Me is a web app built on the Kentico CMS (v12) 
  • Front-end: HTML / CSS / SASS / jQuery / JavaScript 
  • Back-end: C# .NET (ASP.NET – Web Forms, Core) / Web API / SQL Server / Azure hosted 


About you:

We are looking for a person who values “Enabling better lives” through the services and support they provide. You will be passionate, enthusiastic and seek to join a company that wants to make a difference to people’s lives. To be successful in this role you will encompass the below:


  • 3+ years’ experience in software development, including exposure to all facets of the SDLC is preferred.
  • Skills in HTML, CSS, SASS and web frameworks.
  • In-depth experience in full stack projects / platforms relating to the above tech stack
  • Experience in visual studio, developing unit tests and conducting test-driven development.
  • Agile development methodologies.
  • Worked with multiple tools and architectures.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly regarded: DevOps experience.
  • Highly regarded: Understanding of Information Security Practices (e.g. OWASP top 10)
  • Highly regarded: Knowledge and experience of the employment and community services sectors.


  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study. 
  • Highly regarded: Agile development, Microsoft Azure & other software development or database development certifications
