Mobility has developed an innovative mobile app to revolutionise the way home care is delivered in Australia. We have a strong focus on helping those that need it the most – people with a disability, older people, and anyone that could benefit from receiving care to their home. 

About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created Director of Care role is responsible for ensuring our clients receive great care every time. This role will be a senior clinician with responsibility for all clinical services and a multi-disciplinary team at a strategic and operational level. As a Registered Home Care provider you will lead people, processes and practices to ensure we excel in our commitment to the Aged Care Quality Standards.

In this role, you will...

  • Lead the lifespan of the project including set-up, project planning, tracking milestones and achieving outputs.
  • Draft and maintain a detailed project plan, including milestones, resources and risk mitigation.
  • Continuously evaluate and impact measures of the project, regularly reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to deliver quality client outcomes
  • Ensure seamless provision of great care and supports to mobility clients.
  • Proactively receive and manage incidents/complaints/feedback/compliments including escalation/resolution and monthly analysis and reporting. 
  • Manage contractual and regulatory requirements in Aged Care while monitoring and reporting changes of the regulatory and policy environment.
  • Review quality and performance of Aged Care services

What we are looking for:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and 4 years post-graduate with at least one year in community-based care and/or with older people and people with a disability.
  • Superior working knowledge of Proda, MyAgedCare Portal and Services Australia platforms.
  • Proven operational expertise in the leadership of Home Care Package service delivery.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the Aged Care Act 1997, regulatory framework, and stakeholder landscape.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the NDIS Practice Standards and the responsibilities of registered providers in relation to the NDIS Quality & Safety Commission..
  • Relevant experience leading/managing projects in a complex environment
  • Knowledge/experience of the disability/aged care sector/services/the NDIS highly desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise in Customer Experience Programs
  • Experience in change management and leading teams through change processes
  • Highly developed communications skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Experience with project management software would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritising skills to work to meet deadlines
