The role

We are currently seeking a Psychologist or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker to join our team based in our spacious and modern, Brisbane CBD office on a part-time basis, 2 days per week. This is a tele-health role and we will also consider you working from home (equipment provided). 
 
In this role you will contribute to the values driven, highly professional and ethical delivery of services to Assure customers through the provision of services including EAP counselling, psychological interventions, and critical incident management. Regular peer supervision is provided (may be used towards annual PD requirements with AHPRA / AASW).
 
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Full Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist in Australia or;
  • Mental Health Accreditation and full practicing membership with the AASW as a Social Worker
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical and counselling interventions to a broad range of presentations
  • An ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load
  • The ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company to achieve goals through influence
  • A superior level of interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively to a team setting
  • Good computing skills, superior written skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow administration procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • An understanding of best practice principles and experience in providing critical incident management services (desirable, not essential)
  • Willingness to undergo a new National Criminal History check
  • Current licence and own transport (desirable, not essential)
  • Working rights in Australia
