EAP (Employee Assistance Program) is a confidential service that organisations provide to their employees and family members to reduce mental health and people related risk.

The role

We are currently seeking a Psychologist or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker to join our team based in our West Perth office on a permanent part time basis, 2 days per week (we may consider additional days). 

In this role you will contribute to the values driven, highly professional and ethical delivery of services to Assure customers through the provision of services including EAP counselling (face to face, online or phone based), psychological interventions, and critical incident management.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • For a Psychologist: Full Registration with AHPRA 
  • For a Social Worker: Mental Health Accreditation and full practicing membership with the AASW 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience providing brief, solution focused clinical and counselling interventions to a broad range of presentations
  • An ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load
  • The ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company to achieve goals through influence
  • A superior level of interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively to a team setting
  • Good computing skills, superior written skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow administration procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • An understanding of best practice principles and experience in providing critical incident management services (desirable, not essential)
  • Willingness to undergo a new National Criminal History check
  • A Working with Children Check for WA
  • Current licence and own transport (desirable, not essential)
