The opportunity:
Delivering services in our fantastic clinic space, at client’s homes, schools and via telehealth we are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about providing person-centred care to join our clinics located in Durack & Fannie Bay, NT as an Early Intervention Specialist.
What will you be doing:
Reporting to the practice principal and working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will providing evidence-based assessments, therapy and intervention sessions to a mixed caseload.
Develop meaningful goals for children with Autism or with developmental delay (social, communication, cognition)
Plan, develop and support individualised programs and services which promotes each child and family’s quality and enjoyment of life, potential, and positive experiences within the community
Work closely with families to develop individually tailored evidence-informed programs for their child/children.
Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support.
What you need to join:
Compliance – National Police Check, Working with Children check, NDIS Workers Screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, Primary Teaching, Special Education or equivalent
Experience working with children and/or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents. (preferred)
