APM global operations are headquartered in West Perth, and with continued growth planned organically and through acquisitions, are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join the global technology team.


About the role:


This newly created broad and diverse role reporting to the Group CIO, will see you responsible for defining, leading and implementing the enterprise systems strategy across APM’s global operations. Strongly focusing on system design and selection, application development practices and digital business strategies, you will collaborate with internal application and infrastructure teams to enhance systems, data, analytics, insights and capabilities to maximise the value of APM’s investment in its core systems and technologies. Whilst managing the technology life cycle, you will work with IT leads across the Group to define, deliver and execute on a fit for purpose design and roadmap for APM’s systems globally.


Your responsibilities:

  • Define the systems strategy, vision and roadmap in alignment with the organisation’s business strategy, ensuring it delivers on local contracts and global best practices which support broader data, analytics and integration requirements
  • Assess, consult, seek endorsement and deliver appropriate systems and technologies that meet the needs of operations across 10 countries
  • Standardise & define core technologies that can be rolled out and utilised globally to simplify future system developments, extract value from previous investments or leverage design thinking in defining
  • Using trendspotting techniques establish how mainstream and emerging technologies can be used to advance business strategy and transform IT operations
  • Actively contribute in piloting and building digital business platforms
  • Provide leadership, vision and management to broader application development and systems support teams
  • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effective and productivity to deliver quality Client outcomes

 

About you:

  • 10 years’ or more experience in Leadership with enterprise systems, architecture, senior leader engagement (preferably app. Dev/internally developed + core CRM/Dynamics 365) working in a federated technology environment for global business units
  • Demonstrated experience working with technology and BU leaders to define, lead and implement a broader vision for system selection, enhancement, reuse and support
  • Robust experienced in the Microsoft suite; DevOps, Dynamics 365, Azure, SQL and .Net, data warehousing, data lakes etc.
  • Proven track-record of development, implementation & integration of industry leading system architectures, technologies and practices, and managing risk within a global organisation
  • An in-depth understanding of modern SDLC practices, current & emerging technology, related opportunities, risks and strategies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the CRM systems industry, market trends, the competitive landscape and development in the technology industry
  • Sophisticated stakeholder management, communication, resilience and influencing ability cross all levels of functional business stakeholders and passionate for technological trends/ developments in systems & applications, security, architectures, cloud and CRM platforms
  • Relevant technology related certifications - desirable
