What is an Immediate Response Consultant?

Whether part time or full time, an Immediate Response Consultant provides a range of brief interventions and immediate response services via phone, digital platforms including a market leading Chat function, and occasionally face to face / onsite. This includes individual support and guidance for employees at all levels, about a range of personal and professional issues. You will also conduct outbound wellbeing check ins as part of our proactive outreach programs.

Working as an Immediate Response Consultant, you will:

  • Enjoy flexible working conditions

  • Have availability between 2-5 business days per week

  • Engage with business leaders to provide coaching on a range of leadership matters 
  • Adhere to high standards of clinical governance through appropriate case management and reporting systems

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Be a Psychologist with full AHPRA registration OR a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker with AASW Membership (mandatory)
  • Have a minimum 2 years of relevant clinical counselling experience across a broad range of presentations
  • Be capable of undertaking clinical risk assessments and adhere to escalation protocols
  • Have strong I.T. skills and ability to manage multiple operational systems
  • Have superior written skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow administration procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • Demonstrate confidence and calmness in managing multiple priorities
  • Use high levels of organisational and time management skills
  • Have strong influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills
  • Current Working with Children clearance applicable to your state 
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check
