APM is a fast-growing International Human Services provider with over 28 years in the industry. The APM IT team consists of over 100 staff in the APAC region and over 200 globally assisting APM group to make a difference in the community by delivering quality outputs to support our frontline staff to enable better lives. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth with the development of digital products and services needed to support this growth.
The Role
In this new permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for managing APM’s software and hardware assets, including management of software volume licencing, renewals, compliance with licence conditions and volumes, modelling costs associated with new software licences and hardware requests across the Digital and Technology Services business unit (especially capacity planning) and the group. You will help to define the management and purchasing strategies with respective business units.
In this role you will:
Perform software and hardware audit activities, monitor usage and provide reports
Administer requisitions, purchase orders, and resolve invoice queries or disputes
Manage the financial performance of the various contracts and report on D&T’s financial position on monthly basis with associated recommendations and commentary
Building and maintaining registers of ICT licences, software, and hardware
Build and deploy an IT Software Procurement Governance Framework based on industry best practise
Influence stakeholders, provide strategic input and constructively challenge current ways of working
Skills you’ll bring
5+ years’ experience in Software and Asset Specialist role in an ICT environment within either an Enterprise or large Government organisation
Experience in driving process improvements, adherence and automation
Experience utilising software management methodologies will be highly regarded
Experience in IT procurement
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
