About the role:

Reporting to the Group CIO, this newly created IT Change Lead role will spearhead the strategy, vision, and delivery of APM Technology’s change management across the global organization. This role is pivotal to ensuring the current and proposed investment in technology related initiatives are well communicated, have broader business impacts considered and consulted, and are given the best opportunity to succeed.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define the requirements for change management within each project, programme and the broader portfolio of initiatives, making sure to maintain portfolio of current projects, and aligning their benefits to the broader business
  • Be abreast of upcoming technology related initiatives (pipeline), and ensure due prioritisation, resourcing and consideration is provided to ensure the organisation can manage the change
  • Ensure senior stakeholders as well as frontline staff understand the drivers and benefits of technology related initiatives, the reasons for undertaking and are advocates for future solutions
  • Support the internal IT Teams in developing robust business cases, ensuring clear alignment between technology related proposals and business drivers
  • Provide leadership, vision and engagement to the broader technology teams, ensuring innovative ideas are surfaced, assessed, prioritised, and implemented.
  • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to deliver quality client outcomes


About you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent environment, running and being involved within large technology related programmes
  • Demonstrable leadership experience and capability with change management, project management and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrable experience in engaging and aligning multiple projects across varied stakeholders, seeking opportunities and engaging with all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in running complex infrastructure, applications or business change programmes and initiatives.
  • Experience of working in a federated technology environment for global business units
  • Knowledge of contemporary project management practices. (Devops, waterfall vs. agile etc.)
  • An in-depth understanding of current and emerging innovative opportunities, risks and strategies and how they impact the human services industry globally, including technology strategies, services and initiatives.
  • Sophisticated stakeholder management, communication, resilience and influencing ability cross all levels of functional business stakeholders and passionate about technological trends/ developments within fast growing companies 
  • Relevant technology related certifications - desirable
