APM is a fast-growing International Human Services provider with over 28 years in the industry. The APM IT team consists of over 100 staff in the APAC region and over 200 globally assisting APM group to make a difference in the community by delivering quality outputs to support our frontline staff to enable better lives. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth in the organisation, which would see our current IT team to grow substantially throughout 2022 and beyond.

The Role

A new permanent role in the APM IT Project Management Office.  You will be responsible for planning, organising, and directing the completion of IT projects ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and within scope.  You will engage with stakeholders across multiple levels and business units within APM.

In this role you will:

• Analyse project and business-related problems and develop appropriate solutions, aligned to clear business processes
• Assist business stakeholders with clarification regarding project scope and work estimates to ensure project business cases are met
• Facilitate high level planning and execution of project related initiatives
• Identify, classify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and ensure recording of risks, issues, decisions, and assumptions
• Meet with IT Project Team Leaders to confirm resource availability and align on the resource plan for their teams
• Managing budget and forecasting for your projects
• Be accountable to the Project Board for successful project outcomes on time and budget
  
  

Skills you’ll bring

• Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager, delivering projects, leading project teams, and rolling up your sleeves when needed on mid to large projects
• Hands on experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle 
• Experience working with various applications especially withing the Microsoft suite.
• Strong requirements gathering skills; running, and facilitating Stakeholder workshops
• Experience working with project leaders, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
