APM global operations are headquartered in West Perth, and with continued growth planned organically and through acquisitions, are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join the global expanding Information Technology team.

About the role:

Your role as our IT Reporting Analyst, will encompass working within the development team to create and enhance our reporting and data analytics functions, following appropriate APM policies and providing excellent support to our customers. Your responsibility:

    • Consult with internal stakeholders to understand & deliver to their requirements, including taking detailed notes & acceptance criteria, and providing work estimates are provided with a variance of <10%.
    • Ensure items are released for testing with a minimal number of defects (Less than 10% of PBI’s or bugs have rectification tasks raised).
    • Provide accurate notes describing what is included in each build, including Work Item references, while ensuring links to build locations, installation guides and configuration changes are included
    • Commitment to agreed timeframes for tasks are met and delays are communicated early, while actively participating in keeping backlog up to date
    • Participates in and performs reporting and code reviews
    • Assist with product deployments, upgrades and production support issues
    • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to deliver quality Client outcomes
    • Actively develop working relationships that demonstrate equity and respect of different cultural perspectives and diversity

About you

    • 4 years’ experience in reporting and data analytics functions
    • Tertiary qualifications in Business; Technology; Computer Science or a related field.
    • Agile development certifications and Microsoft certifications in software development or database development highly regarded
    • Advanced experience with Reporting technologies such as SQL Server Reporting and Power BI
    • Passionate about learning new technologies and staying on top of industry trends
    • Strong time management and personal organisation skills, with an ability to work autonomously.
    • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and strong attention to detail in reporting
    • Proven capacity to work both independently and be an active team player, with a strong customer focus
