We specialise in developing positive workplace mental health initiatives that are aimed at the prevention of psychological injury in the workplace. We also delivery a range of secondary interventions focussed on promoting positive mental health and the early identification and intervention of mental ill-health. The Role

This is a permanent, full time opportunity based in our Sydney CBD office (working from home during any Covid related restrictions). 

Broadly, the Managing Psychologist is responsible for the performance and revenue growth of their team. This includes building and maintaining excellence in service delivery, effective workflow allocation, engagement with and development of team members, effective liaison with other Communicorp stakeholders (e.g., Operations Team, other teams) and, where applicable, placement student management.

As a Managing Psychologist you will lead by example in the facilitation of training workshops, the delivery of consulting services, and the design and delivery of workplace mental health solutions for the corporate and government sectors. You are also required to demonstrate strong business acumen through business development, client management, and project management. The role is varied, engaging, and high tempo.

The ideal candidate

We are seeking a highly-capable industry professional with demonstrated leadership capability. 
Moreover, you will have a demonstrated history of operating efficiently at both a strategic and tactical level to ensure organisational goals are achieved. Furthermore, you will have:

  • Proven leadership/management experience (minimum 5 years) in a professional services organisation e.g. consulting or advisory services;
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA;
  • Endorsement as an Organisational Psychologist is preferred but not essential;
  • Potential to gain, or current registration as a board approved supervisor;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Flexibility, mental agility, and resilience; 
  • Strong financial, analytical, and decision-making skills; and
  • Willingness to undergo a new pre-employment police check.
