APM WorkCare understands that prevention and proactive management of injuries in the workplace is critically important, and we work with employers and their people to minimise the personal and business impact of injuries, illness and disability through prevention, rehabilitation, and training.

The role

In this newly created permanent role, you will be responsible for supporting the National Operational Excellence Manager in driving best practice quality control across the APM WorkCare business. You will use your knowledge and experience within Occupational Rehabilitation to deliver continuous improvements through audit, feedback, training, and support.

You will champion the quality assurance process and influence senior leaders to ensure APM WorkCare delivers strong performance, high levels of customer service and meets service levels agreements.

In this role, you will…

  • Undertake workplace rehabilitation provider self-evaluations for all states and territories
  • Conduct new starter, customer, and state-based audits and provide actionable feedback in-line with APM internal quality metrics
  • Provide expert advice and direction to consultants on high complexity and high-risk claims
  • Support the development and management of induction and competency training programs
  • Ensure KPI requirements and assessment quality are met, and high levels of customer service is maintained

What we are looking for:

You are experienced in Occupational Rehabilitation with an interest in Quality Assurance and the development of best practice rehabilitation.

  • Relevant Allied Health Qualifications and Professional Registration AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC
  • Demonstrated experience in Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Auditor trained or willing to be trained in ISO-19011 Auditor and Management Systems
  • Strong administration skills including planning, organising and prioritising
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative
  • Open to full-time or part-time work options
