NDIS - Local Area Coordinator - Team Leader

About the Position:

In this fulltime permanent role based in our office Bunbury you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of LACs (Local Area Coordinators) Working closely with your team, the community and wider APM employees you will report directly to the Service Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring high quality & consistent service to NDIS participants
  • Adhere to, and ensure compliance of relevant policy and procedures relating to the NDIS and APM business
  • Track and deliver on set KPI’s and business outcomes
  • Provide ongoing professional guidance and mentoring to your team
  • Work directly with Participants of the NDIS, to support the achievement of their goals and to establish integrated community awareness.

You produce high quality deliverables with a core focus on positive team, and participant outcomes. Community minded coupled with professional business acumen you can build relationships both internally and externally to ensure best people outcomes are achieved.     

You will have…

  • Extensive experience in team leadership roles
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influences within the local community
  • Clear level of understanding and knowledge through work or life experience of disability and the impact on individuals
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Qualification in allied health, disability, human or child services, community services or social work

Essential Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Pass a Criminal history check
  • Obtain a Working with Children Card
  • Access to transport (e.g. your own vehicle) to travel to locations in the community)
