The opportunity:

Delivering services in our fantastic clinic space, at client’s homes, schools and via telehealth, we are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Queensland clinic located in Upper Mt Gravatt. Our Occupational Therapist work with clients and families to maximise development, overcome individual challenges and improve performance in motor skills, self care, play, school and learning. This position will suit a therapist who has a interest in neuro-affirming approach to therapy.

What will you be doing:

Reporting to the practice principal and working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will providing evidence-based assessments, therapy and intervention sessions to a mixed caseload.

• Conduct assessments
• Develop tailored therapy programs
• Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions
• Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support.

As a Senior Therapist will:

• Provide supervision to junior team members
• Run group supervision and discipline specific meetings
• Assist staff with time management and organisation
• Development of clinic resources
• Provide feed back to management at local and national level the needs of the team.

What you need to join:

• Compliance – National Police Check, Working with Children check, NDIS Workers Screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA Registration
• 5+ years post graduate experience
• Experience working with children and/or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents.
