Join the team ENABLING BETTER LIVES across New Zealand! With 350 employees APM holds contracts across ACC, MSD, NZDF as well as private employers to provide a range of services including Vocational and Community Rehabilitation, Pain and Injury Management, Workplace Health, Allied Health Intervention and Employment Services.
What you’ll be doing
Working from our New Plymouth office you will support clients throughout the wider Taranaki region on their return to work and life journey. Utilise your specific skills as you partner with a VARIED caseload of clients to gain independence and reduce the impact of their illness or injury such as traumatic brain injury, concussion, pain management or sensitive claims.
Reporting to a locally based Team Leader and part of a SUPPORTIVE, multidisciplinary team, you will deliver assessments and rehabilitation to a range of clients through:
Quality services tailored to individual needs across clinic, workplace and community settings
Assessment, advice and goal setting
Liaising with case managers, internal panels, and other team members
Regular monitoring of client progress and report writing
What you’ll need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in BHSc Occupational Therapy
Current registration with Occupational Therapy Board of NZ
Post graduate experience
Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence
New Zealand working rights
