The opportunity:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Launceston clinic, supporting clients to maximise development, overcome individual challenges and improve performance in motor skills, self-care, play, school and learning. We are offering a Full time or Part Time position delivering services in our fantastic clinic space, at client’s homes, schools and via telehealth. Our therapists truly have the ability to wear different hats if they choose to, which gives us the chance to tailor this position to suit your needs.
What will you be doing:
Reporting to the practice principal and working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will provide evidence-based assessments, therapy and intervention sessions to a mixed caseload.
Participate in the development of clinic resources
Provide feed back to management at local and national level the needs of the team.
Conduct assessments
Develop tailored therapy programs
Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions
Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support.
What you need to join:
Compliance – National Police Check, Working with Children check, NDIS Workers Screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with a current APHRA Registration
Experience working with children and/or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents. (preferred)
