APM is an Australian owned, international human services organisation with offices across Australia, New Zealand and UK. APM specialises in Employment Services, Injury Management, Vocational Rehabilitation, Assessment, Allied Health Intervention and Community Care.
This is a part-time role Min 2 days per week - located at our Cairns, QLD office.
About the Role
Delivering services under the government’s new ParentsNext contract, APM’s Parent & Family Pathway Planners have an opportunity to provide advocacy, coaching and mentoring to Parents who have made the decision to prepare for their return to work or study.
Core duties of this role include:
Lead the way in supporting parents to both plan for and create pathways for future growth and development
Liaise with local service providers and community to assist parents effectively prepare for a return to work or study
Engage in networking activities to strengthen relationships with local business and community groups
Effectively administer the delivery of APM’s contractual service delivery model and plan
Skills and Experience:
Relevant experience and/or qualifications in family, youth, disability or employment services
Strong knowledge and connections into the local community
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and time management skills
Experience in planning with people to achieve positive outcomes
Ability to set goals, manage a variety of tasks and achieve outcomes
Excellent communication skills
Strong administration and compliance capabilities
