Want to be part of change and the future of Aged Care in Australia, a future that ensures fair access to the optimal level of care and support for residents. In these roles, available on full time and part time basis, you'll be part of a positive, cohesive group of experienced practitioners, applying your combined expertise to conduct assessments that keep your clients' needs central to the work that you do.

  • Conduct desktop reviews of existing assessment documentation.
  • Conduct interviews with residents, carers and other relevant people
  • Collaborate with other practitioners in your team to accurately complete AN-ACC funding assessment tools
  • Combine your findings to assess the appropriate funding classification for restorative care / reablement.

Why apply

  • Salary dependent on speciality and experience
  • Travel allowances and accommodation provided for overnight stays (if required)
  • You'll be part of the APM group of companies, a network of national and international health brands, offering an exciting path of career development for you to explore
  • 3 days fully paid training provided and a strong support network to help you do your best

To be considered, you will need:

  • 5 years’ experience in aged care or a related area of health care
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Current unrestricted General Registration AHPRA
  • Demonstrated Australian aged care experience including working with people with dementia
  • Demonstrated experience conducting clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools

...and soft skills related to motivation, organisation and working independently and as part of a team.
