About the role

Lifecare Malvern are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to work closely with the Practice Principals and support the reception team, practitioners, and general clinic functions.

The successful candidate will join our organisation in a pivotal role, managing the administrative tasks of the practice at an operational level. You will work collaboratively with other reception and professional staff within the clinic to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice.

We are seeking a person who has a genuine interest in caring for the health needs of others and a personal interest in health and fitness. The role will be offered on a permanent part time basis, and we are looking for someone who can work approximately 25 hours per week. This role has the opportunity to work on a full time basis if desired.

In this role you will be……

  • Managing the day to day operations of the clinic
  • Answering and directing all phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing payments including HICAPS, Medicare, DVA, TAC and Workcover
  • Assisting the team to manage their diaries
  • Managing all patient appointments
  • Bookkeeping including preparation of weekly and monthly invoices, and account reconciliation
  • Reviewing and reporting on debtors and follow up of outstanding invoices
  • Organising meetings, staff training and management of office events
  • Ensuring policies, databases and systems are maintained and updated
  • Providing digital marketing and social media support
  • Ordering products and supplies
  • Managing all WH&S matters including arranging annual fire and electrical testing and staff training
  • Assisting with HR, payroll and recruitment activities

  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate (or have an exemption), in line with government policy on healthcare settings
  • Australian Working Rights
  • National Police Check
