APM Workcare understands that prevention and proactive management of injuries in the workplace is critically important and we work with employers and their people to minimise the personal and business impact of injuries, illness and disability through prevention, rehabilitation and training. We’re looking for Psychologists to join our team of Rehabilitation Consultants in Brisbane.

The role

As a Psychologist, working as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be using your clinical expertise and skills to support and own your client’s journey as they return to work and return to life after physical or psychological injury. You will influence and guide your clients to achieve the results that they’ve identified through a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.

 

In this role, you’ll be….

  • Conducting motivational interviews to support an integration back into life
  • Supporting psychosocial re-engagement
  • Providing an holistic approach to return-to-work
  • Facilitating discussions between workers and employers to repair and rebuild workplace relationships
  • Helping to develop confidence in your client to help find new employment
  • Developing and delivering internal training to support internal consultants with education

What we are looking for:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA
  • A variety of experience levels from graduate to senior
  • Strong client focus and the ability to build relationships with a range of people
  • Motivation to achieve realistic targets
  • A current, or ability to hold a Working With Children Check
  • Open to having a National Police Check completed prior to employment
