APM is seeking a senior health professional with people and operational leadership skills to be part of the future of Aged Care in Australia. As a Regional Manager, you will be a vital part of APM’s delivery of AN-ACC Assessments and the Australian Government’s reform initiative.

Replacing the previous Residential Aged Care funding tool, the new assessment method aims to:

  • Improve the assessment process for funding so it is more accurate, fairer, and nationally consistent
  • Remove the paperwork burden on aged care providers so more time can be spent on providing safe and effective care
  • Boost innovation in residential aged care, while fostering a culture of reablement and excellence.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the operations and delivery of high-quality Residential Aged Care Assessment using an AN-ACC tool with residents within specified facilities of defined aged care regions. . With two direct reports, you will engage in operational planning, considering timelines, resources and standards that support effective service delivery. This position is looking after the western region of Australia which includes, Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia.

This is a part-time position working 22.5 hours a week across 4 or 5 days which can be based anywhere in Western Australia, South Australia or Northern Territory. 

Who are we seeking?

To be considered, you will be a senior health professional with people and operational leadership experience and a working knowledge of the Aged Care Sector. Your application should demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy & APHRA registration
  • An ability to lead teams in meeting KPIs, contractual requirements and quality standards
  • Experience overseeing the logistical management of a geographically dispersed team
  • Ability to identify service delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Operational planning experience
