The role of the Senior Consultant is to identify, win and deliver assignments from new and existing clients with the support of our Business Development team. The Senior Consultant may deliver the assignment independently, or work in partnership with other members of the FBG team to deliver.

A Senior Consultant models effective, and values aligned behaviours and will lead, mentor and coach as required. They contribute to the FBG business in a variety of domains including client liaison, account management, marketing, business development, project delivery and internal business management.

The perfect candidate

As an FBG consultant based in Melbourne working Full Time, you will thrive in a fast-paced and flexible consulting environment, have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. You are capable of end-to-end project delivery, are curious and learning-oriented, can think strategically and commercially, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are emotionally resilient. This role is typically office based however affords some flexibility to work from home (laptop provided). You will work from home and deliver services online during any Covid related lockdown period. 

In addition to the above, we require you to have:

  • 5+ years’ experience organisational consulting and client relationship management
  • A Master of Organisational Psychology, Business or related discipline (desirable)
  • Eligibility for AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist (desirable)
  • Eligibility as a board approved supervisor (desirable)
  • Confidence and refined capabilities to design, develop, implement and evaluate interventions at an organisational, team and individual level
  • A demonstrated track record in developing new business and growing accounts in the area of organisational consulting
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and providing a variety of advice and solutions to senior leaders across a variety of industries 
  • Proven report writing capability
  • Sound I.T. capability and proficient with MS Office suite
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check
