The opportunity:
We are seeking Senior Occupational Therapists to join our vibrant, multi-disciplinary Allied Health team based at our Murarrie, QLD clinic. Our Occupational Therapist work with clients and families to maximise development, overcome individual challenges and improve performance in motor skills, self care, play, school and learning.
What will you be doing:
Reporting to the practice principal and working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will provide evidence-based assessments, therapy and intervention sessions to a mixed caseload.
Conduct assessments
Develop tailored therapy programs
You will develop meaningful goals and recommendations for therapy that will support children to reach their full potential
Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions
Work closely with families to develop individually tailored evidence-informed programs for their child/children.
Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support.
As a Senior Therapist you will:
Provide supervision to junior team members
Run group supervision and discipline specific meetings
Assist staff with time management and organisation
Development of clinic resources
Provide feed back to management at local and national level the needs of the team.
What you need to join:
Compliance – National Police Check, Working with Children check, NDIS Workers Screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
Relevant qualifications (Occupational Therapy) with APHRA Registration
Experience working with children and/or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents. (preferred)
