In New Zealand, APM holds a number of contracts with ACC, MSD, NZDF as well as private employers to provide a range of services including Vocational and Community Rehabilitation, Concussion, Pain and Injury Management, Workplace Health, Allied Health Intervention and Employment Services.
About the role
Covering the Greater Wellington region and engaged as an independent contractor, you will work with our clients and their families in their environment to develop resiliency, improve functional outcomes and access community resources to achieve their goals.
As part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical assessment and treatment to make a difference to the lives of a range of clients through:
Utilising a range social work skills and appropriate interventions
Knowledge of local resources, community services and programmes to refer clients to as required
Applying clinical expertise and reasoning
Liaising with other allied health team members and ACC Case Managers
Regular monitoring and reporting of client progress and goal achievement
Key skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in Social Work
Current registration with ANZASW or be able to apply for registration
Post graduate experience with head injury, and/or working with children
Exposure to ACC contracts
Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence
