Work with individuals and families to support their needs as a Senior Speech Pathologist – Project leader across our Victorian team.

The opportunity:
Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to a paediatric caseload - direct support to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities
Lead a project piloting unique service delivery approaches for Speech Pathology, specialising in children with developmental delay or disability
Work with an experienced project team to develop and execute a project plan
Lead a small team of Allied Health Assistants
Day to day in the role will include assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload
Interventions are one-on-one with focus on evidence-based practice
Appointments can take place in our fantastic clinic space, at client’s homes, schools and via telehealth - administer assessments, providing direct and indirect intervention, liaising with families, teachers, professionals, and support staff
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes
Supervision of junior team members, running group supervision and discipline specific meetings, assisting staff with time management and organisation, development of clinic resources, feeding back to management at local and national level the needs of the team
What will make you successful?
Tertiary qualifications as a speech pathologist
Current registration with SPA
Passion for making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for families!
At least 1 year experience working within Paediatrics or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents.
Compliance – SPA Membership, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Training, Driver’s License & Vehicle
