What you’ll be doing

Working from our Hamilton office you will support clients throughout the wider Waikato region on their return to work and life journey.   Utilise your specific skills as you partner with a VARIED caseload of clients to provide a wide range of quality vocational training and support tailored to individual client needs.  

Reporting to a locally based Team Leader and part of a SUPPORTIVE, multidisciplinary team, you will provide career counselling services through:

• Career counselling services
• CV, cover letter and application form preparation
• Job search techniques across social media and the internet
• Interview preparation including personal presentation
• Liaison with a range of suppliers to coordinate licencing and skill development
• Management of case funding including future requests
• External stakeholder relationships with ACC, training providers and other professionals

What you’ll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification (Level 6 or above) in either Career Counselling, Social Work or Human Resources
• Affiliate, Professional or Full membership of CDANZ
• A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
• Previous experience delivering ACC contracts and services specifically Back to work and IOA
• Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence 
• New Zealand working rights
