Based in Bundaberg, QLD - you will be working in collaboration with regions to achieve demonstrable participant progression - where you will be providing safe and engaging activities in which jobseekers can increase their employability. Your role is to open opportunities to progress towards employment for participants whilst providing Employment Consultants ease of access to services that can tailor participants support.  

What you will be doing as an Activity & Engagement Coordinator…

  • Be the trusted subject matter expert in local activities across the region, working closely with our business leaders
  • You will be responsible for the development of activities and projects as part of Workforce Australia
  • You will ensure APM has a variety of adequate activities available to our jobseekers
  • Provide value in the establishment of a pipeline of employment ready jobseekers by sourcing education and training options that deliver results
  • Deliver strength in APM community partnerships to support non-vocational barriers
  • Ensure compliance with the Deed and Guidelines is always maintained across the business
  • Support Business Managers and Employment Consultants with activity engagement
  • Ensure APM delivers a high standard of engagement and customer service for all stakeholders

To be considered, you will have…

  • Able to work in a collaborative, approachable and empowering environment
  • Superior skills in developing and maintaining stakeholder and local community relationships
  • Experience in achieving and meeting KPIs
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety policies and systems
  • An excellent knowledge of the local labour market
  • Demonstrate initiative, hands on ability and have strong administration skills
  • Demonstrate project leadership
  • Able to work full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
