Our personal injury division provides services through federal and state-based Workers Compensations, and Motor Accident Schemes.
Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
Working with your clients develop, implement and monitor their rehabilitation plans. Provide ongoing support as they return to the same job or source new employment
Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
Report writing, reviewing medical files and maintaining case notes through, providing a high quality case management service
Truly immerse in the ADF experience. A unique work setting you will be located “on-base.” Work hours include 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 13:30 Friday at RAAF Base Amberley - no billable KPI's, purely person-centred support.

What will make you successful:
Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA as an EP, AASW or ASORC)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Osteopathy, Social Work or Nursing
Clinical reasoning
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
Minimum of 12 months occupational rehabilitation experience
