We have an exciting new opportunity for a full-time (ideally) ADF Rehabilitation Consultant to join our tight knit team in Nowra NSW. Working with the Australian Defence Force at HMAS Albatross, the opportunity suits an experience Rehabilitation Consultant, rehabilitation counsellor or clinician who wants the opportunity to support our defence force personnel. The Opportunity:
Acumen are on a growth journey and we are looking for talented and motivated allied health clinicians from the following disciplines; Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Exercise Physiology / Rehabilitation Counselling /Social Work/ Mental Health Nurses / Provisional Psychologists and Psychologists.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will be partnering with Defence personnel who have sustained an injury or trauma and be responsible for assessing their needs to develop and then implement strategies to enable their rehabilitation.
The successful Candidate:
Degree qualified with current clinical skills as an OT, Physio., Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Consultant, Social Work, Provisional Psychologist and Psychologist.
Current an full registration with a relevant professional body (APHRA, ESSA, ASORC and AASW)
At least 6 -12 months experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (desirable)
A full driver’s license
Be able to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning abilities and possess highly effective communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
An unrelenting passion to help people rehabilitate and transform into the best version of themselves
Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly desirable and candidates with this background are encouraged to apply/contact our talent acquisition consultant for a confidential conversation about what is on offer.
