The Opportunity: 

Working with our Allied Health therapy team you will use a therapeutic approach used to help individuals with developmental disorders improve various behaviours, skills, and quality of life. You will;

• Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives
• Coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasks
• Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports
• Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

What do you need to join?

• Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families!
• No qualification is required, however experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience), is essential.
• Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification – will suit 3rd or 4th year students. 
• Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable. 
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community once you are developed in the role. 
• Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and First Aid certificate.
