The great news is the location you live and work from is flexible. You can be based at any one of our WA Employment Services offices.

Perhaps you are currently working as an Employment Consultant but would enjoy a role with more of an administration focus? At the end of the day, we are open as to what industry you are coming from. What’s important is that you have high attention to detail and have a passion for ensuring quality and integrity in everything you do.

  • Strong administrative skills – previous experience with payments, payroll and invoicing would be advantageous
  • Good judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Workforce Australia contract desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work autonomously and be managed remotely

 A typical week will involve:

As a Business Support officer, you will be working in the National Placement Unit team.

This role will focus on managing risk when it comes to placement requests in an accurate and timely manner to ensure all Departmental requirements are met.

  • Review and process all Workforce Australia Services Placements and submit in the Department IT system.
  • Stakeholder communication (internal and external)
  • Provide support and guidance to staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support contractual compliance and efficiency
  • Complete all tasks accurately within specified time frames   
  • This is a full-time role working 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
