About the role
As a community Dietitian, you will work with clients to provide nutrition assessment and planning of dietary needs, including food service management and intervention programs to provide your clients with a holistic and integrated care to enhance health and wellbeing.

In this role you will be…

  • Ensuring appropriate delivery of quality Dietetic services tailored to the individual needs of the client and using a person-centred approach
  • Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home
  • Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care
  • Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers
  • Able to reflect our practice values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence in all that you do.
  • Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP’s, community centre’s and other referrers.

  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent that meets the requirements for full or part time membership of the Dietitians Australia.
  • New graduates welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; and ability to work autonomously in the community
  • An enjoyment of working with the older adult and adult disability demographics
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Clean driver licence, access to own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or able to obtain.
  • Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application.
