The Role

As the Test Lead your role is to plan, communicate, prepare, execute, and report on IT Program and Project assurance activities. You will work closely with the APM Delivery Leadership, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Solution Architects, plus the Business and any external suppliers, to ensure that the appropriate level of testing is undertaken with the right methods, tools and governance in place.

In this role you will:

  • Plan, coordinate and control test activities
  • Develop Test Plans, Test cases and Entry/Exit criteria
  • Define appropriate Test Methods and Test Tools
  • Undertake Test Execution
  • Manage Test Reporting and Defect Management
  • Build relationships and consult with Stakeholders/External Suppliers/Project Team members to enable the appropriate level of User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification Testing activities
  • Play a leading role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective and sustainable use of technology, processes and data

Skills you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated success in a Test Leadership role 
  • Hands-on experience in the full test lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience in User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification Testing activities
  • Experience in stakeholder management, to work and build relationships with a wide range of project stakeholders
  • Excellent tracking and reporting skills to enable efficient defect resolution and clear updates on status
  • Experience with business acquisitions is advantageous.
