About the role

Noosa Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy by Lifecare are recruiting a part time remedial massage therapist to join our team. We are a well-established clinic located in the Noosaville health hub on Goodchap street. You will be taking over an existing caseload of remedial and sports massage clients.

You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team of Physiotherapists.

In this role you will be...

• Either a casual or permanent part time employee or contractor with ACN
• Start date January 2025
• Initially 15-20 hours per week with option to build hours
• Competitive hourly rate
• Flexible hours but ideally Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday   
• Taking over an established caseload
• Intra-practice referrals between physiotherapy and massage services.
• Receiving full admin support with rebooking and billings

• Assessing symptoms and medical history, making diagnoses and treatment plans autonomously
• Providing massage therapy and education to a diverse patient population
• Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress

• Qualification and professional association membership in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
• Experience in treating musculoskeletal condition and sports injuries
• Lymphatic massage qualification not mandatory but would be a great asset to the practice
• Health Fund Registered
• Must have personal indemnity insurance
• Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
