The Construct Health team in Moranbah are part of the larger Biosymm group with a large team providing allied health services across Australia and attractive employee benefits to it's team members. 

We are proud to provide quality physiotherapy, exercise physiology and occupational health services to both our patients and corporate clients in the Moranbah and Bowen Basin region. This is from our four room clinic located centrally in town with a clinic team of 8 across physiotherapy and administrative services.

About the Role

We are looking for a full time Practice Manager to make a difference in the community and support our team to achieve great health care outcomes by:

  • Overseeing and managing the day to day operation of the local clinic as well as our on site services
  • Supervising the local physiotherapy and administration team with a focus on operation and administration while liaising with the local Clinic Lead
  • Implementing and maintaining processes and systems and invoicing for the Clinic
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative support as required
  • Participating in weekly practice manager meetings with other leadership team members across the Construct Health team

We need:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills - or a willingness to grow and learn leadership skills
  • Experience in the use of practice management software
  • Experience in managing finances
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • Proficiency with use of computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office packages, Teams)
  • Ability to multi task, problem solve and work under pressure while prioritising patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Flexibility to provide cover in leave periods within the admin team as required during the year
