About the role:
Delivering counselling treatment in our fantastic clinic space or via telehealth, this role offers flexibility with full time or part time hours available.
Our clients are predominantly private Medicare clients, with the opportunity to also provide services to NDIS participants.
You will deliver assessments and evidence-based early intervention therapy services to a mixed paediatric caseload and our amazing administration team are there to support you with the day-to-day admin tasks, giving you the time and support to do what you love and do best!

Our Mandurah clinic is a friendly and welcoming environment, which has a huge gym space, equipped with all the necessary equipment for the delivery of high-quality treatment, including a sensory swing, large ball pit, crash mat and mini trampoline. You will also have your own therapy room, which is thoughtfully designed to create a calming atmosphere, promoting a sense of safety and trust for our clients. We believe that a welcoming environment is essential for effective therapy and we strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood and supported.

What you’ll do:
Your role will consist of:
Conduct clinical assessments (including the use of screening tools)
Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families
Provide therapy interventions and resources to clients and families
Work closely with families to develop individually tailored evidence-informed programs for their child
Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support
Review progress formally in collaboration with individuals and families to celebrate achievement, obtain feedback on services provided and set new priorities
Continually focus on improvement through regular evaluation, training and reviews
What you’ll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and current AHPRA registration
A bright, bubbly and energetic personality and a passion for making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for children and their families
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
A strong desire to learn and expand your knowledge base and skill set
Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment
