Your day at Early Start Australia may include:

  • Conduct clinical assessments (i.e. ASD, ADHD, cognitive)
  • Provide therapy interventions and resources to clients and families through evidence-based practice to meet individual and family goals.
  • Provide support to parents, educators and allied health professionals on evidence-based interventions to address cognitive, social and / or behavioural difficulties
  • Review progress in collaboration with individuals and families to celebrate achievement, obtain feedback on services provided and set new priorities.
  • Provide professional reports for funding bodies to comprehensively demonstrate the great work you are doing.
  • Ensure a focus on continuous development through daily CPD activities

 What do you need to join?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
  • Experience in conducting mental health, cognitive and functional assessments.
  • Highly practiced child and family counselling skills, with offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions, to children, young people and parents
  • Compliance – AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training.
