This is a unique opportunity. Acumen Health is the exclusive provider of occupational rehabilitation services to the ADF. You will to provide holistic & outcome focussed rehabilitation to ADF personnel and Veterans.  

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
  • Utilise clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people who have suffered from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses or trauma.
  • Work with highly motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physio’s, Psychologist, etc.) for additional direct support
  • Conduct ADL assessments to support clients at home during their recovery. 

We have a variety of working models to fit your needs. Part-Time (From 2 days). You will be SUPPORTED and MENTORED through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (incl. ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise, setting you up for success.

What will make you successful:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Current unrestricted registration as an OT with AHPRA
  • Strong clinical reasoning & report writing skills
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of rehab goals
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
